Jessica's artist name is Abigail’s Lifefullness Art

I have always loved life-drawing and have a special interest in the human form. I trained at Stafford College where I gained a HND in Figurative Sculpture. I have recently taken my talent forward and have started to take commissions for portraits. To date I have taken commissions for portraits of the family, pets and capturing lost loved one’s family portraits. My favourite technique is to use heavy B pencils and pen to create a lot of contrast and using a blender to create really smooth tonal ranges on the skin. I am also interested in the potential for telling stories and expressing emotions through art. I like to tell stories of complex emotive issues through the narrative of teddy bears, a universal character that speaks to our vulnerable selves.
